Intervention Training Resources

Information is provided by the Coalition for the Advancement and Application of Psychological Science. For more information about CAAPS please visit their website at https://www.caaps.co/

CAAPS' mission is to work collaboratively to promote science to understand, reduce and prevent the burden of mental illness, and foster adaptive development and well-being.

CAAPS is an umbrella organization formed in 2016 to provide an opportunity for organizations committed to clinical science to have a means for working together productively on shared goals. Their member organizations work on many different aspects of the creation, dissemination, and application of clinical science and the training of clinical scientists, but share a commitment to prioritizing a scientific epistemology to advance knowledge and improve human well-being.

To this end, they seek to establish a field-wide dialogue to better understand and address barriers to the development and implementation of evidence-based practice decision making that can more effectively meet the needs of patients, communities, and the health care system.

Evidence-Based Principles of Change Training Resources

These resources are the result of a collaborative effort by members of the Committee for Advancement of Resources Supporting Evidence-based Practice (CARSEP). The larger goal of this collaboration is to reduce barriers to accessing resources that support training in the delivery of evidence-based principles of change that are core to treatments with a strong empirical evidence base.

Over time, we expect to provide resources tied to a wide range of transdiagnostic, evidence-based principles of change. We are pleased to release our first set of training materials.
